About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric from the Rivera collection is woven in a versatile cloth blend of 39% cotton, 31% linen, 20% viscose and 10% polyester, with a width of approximately 132cm and a repeat of V 39cm / H 66cm approx. The visible surface reads as a matte slate blue-grey, giving the small-scale trailing motif a crisp, contemporary edge rather than a warm country feel. Delicate stems and leaves appear in softened teal, mustard, red and pale ivory, so the pattern feels lively without becoming busy. Its balanced handle and smart finish make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery, depending on the project and required tailoring. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for reference.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, a tailored blind, or loose curtains where the slate ground can calm brighter accents. It sits especially well with pale oak, brushed nickel and deep inky blues.

Pairs neatly with chalky neutrals or deep navy for a refined, layered scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tadorna Slate without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
