About this fabric

ESS4290 is a plain velvet in a deep espresso brown, with a near-black, slightly cool cast in the photographed light. The short pile catches light softly across the even surface, creating restrained tonal movement rather than a visible pattern. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, it is specified for Contract and Domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this deep espresso brown on a tailored sofa, occasional chair or headboard to anchor lighter timber, stone and warm neutral schemes. Its low-sheen surface also suits seating where a dark, composed finish is preferred.
