About this fabric

This ochre colourway has a warm, golden depth that reads rich rather than bright, with darker shadows pooling across the creases to create a gently dramatic finish. The fabric is composed of 56% Cotton and 44% Polyester, giving it a balanced handle for interiors, and it comes with a 140cm width and 0cm pattern repeat. Visually it appears as a smooth, lightly textural cloth with a subtle directional sheen that changes as the light moves over it. That mix of warmth and sheen gives the fabric a distinctly luxe character without feeling overly formal.

How to use it

Use this shade to add warmth against walnut, smoked oak or dark painted joinery, where its golden undertone will glow. It also makes a striking drapery choice in softer, neutral rooms that need a richer focal point.

A glowing ochre with a supple sheen that suits statement upholstery or rich drapery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Alchemy Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
