Porter & Stone

Limpopo Silver

Serengeti Fabric

Limpopo Silver has a dark, glossy ground with a smoky silver pattern that reads like an abstract zebra stripe. The contrast feels bold and contemporary, with a soft sheen that catches the light.

About this fabric

Limpopo Silver from the Serengeti collection by Porter & Stone is a 140cm-wide fabric with a 57.5cm pattern repeat and a composition of 61% Polyester 39% Viscose. The visible surface has a black ground with layered silver-grey striping, giving the design a strong graphic rhythm and a subtle metallic lift. The finish looks softly textured rather than flat, so the silver bands shift gently as the light moves across them. With no performance features noted and care instructions NQT1<, this colourway feels best suited to decorative interiors where the pattern can be the focus.

How to use it

The cool silver-on-black palette works well against pale plaster, smoked mirror, or dark timber, where the sheen can stand out. Use it for upholstery or drapery when you want a sharp, evening-friendly accent rather than a warm, earthy animal print.

Use it for a dramatic statement chair or fluid curtain with a refined metallic edge.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
