About this fabric

Part of Porter & Stone’s Shimmer FR collection, Lava FR Silver is woven in 93% polyester and 7% lurex, giving the cloth its subtle glint without making it overly glossy. The 140cm width makes it practical for a range of interior projects, while the 35.5cm vertical repeat and 36cm horizontal repeat create a bold, all-over pattern. Visually, the colourway reads as a cool grey with silvered highlights and an inky undertone, so the design feels crisp and modern. The fine, web-like motif softens the larger-scale movement and gives the fabric a layered, smoky depth.

How to use it

This silver-grey colourway works well in contemporary rooms where you want pattern without strong colour, especially against pale plaster, concrete tones or black accents. It would also sit neatly with brushed metals and smoked glass, where the lurex thread can catch the light.
