Lava FR Stone shows a warm stone-taupe ground laced with a pale, crackled web of abstract lines. The metallic hint in the weave gives the surface a soft shimmer without overwhelming the muted palette.

About this fabric

This Shimmer FR colourway combines 93% polyester with 7% lurex, giving the fabric its dry handle and the faint reflective sparkle visible across the pattern. At 140cm wide, it is a practical furnishing cloth for making up curtains, blinds or lighter upholstery projects where a touch of sheen is welcome. The large-scale abstract motif reads like fractured stone in beige and soft ivory against a deeper taupe base, creating depth without strong contrast. Pattern repeat is 35.5cm vertical by 36cm horizontal, and the NQT1< care code should be checked before cleaning.

How to use it

Its warm taupe base works well with natural oak, plaster pinks and brushed brass, especially in rooms that need pattern without sharp colour. Use it to soften a contemporary scheme or to lift neutral upholstery with a quiet metallic glint.

Use for tailored upholstery or elegant drapes where the subtle shimmer can catch the light.
