Porter & Stone

Kilimanjaro Silver

Serengeti Fabric

Kilimanjaro Silver has a striking spotted surface in deep charcoal and black, with pale outlining that gives the pattern clear definition. The overall effect is moody and graphic rather than high contrast, with a softly textured finish that catches the light in places.

About this fabric

This fabric from Porter & Stone’s Serengeti collection is 140cm wide, with a 30cm pattern repeat and a composition of 61% Polyester and 39% Viscose. The swatch shows a dark, near-black ground broken by irregular pebble-like spots, edged in a lighter silver-grey that makes the design read crisply against the base. Its surface has a slight sheen and a woven texture that keeps the colourway looking refined rather than flat. The cool charcoal palette feels sophisticated and versatile, with enough movement in the pattern to add interest without dominating a room.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a tailored chair, bench or ottoman where the dark ground can anchor the scheme and the silver outline adds sharp detail. It pairs especially well with pale plaster, smoke grey or brushed metal finishes for a modern, urban look.

A dramatic neutral with a subtle sheen, ideal for grounding statement seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
