About this fabric

This colourway in the Provence collection has the dense, plush look you expect from velvet, with a uniform pile that gives the surface a quiet directional sheen when the light moves across it. The shade is a very deep black, staying firmly in the noir family rather than opening into charcoal, which gives it a crisp, contemporary presence. With a width of 140cm and no pattern repeat, it is straightforward to cut for tailored upholstery projects and clean-lined soft furnishings. The composition is 100% recycled polyester, and the care code NQT1< should be followed for maintenance.

How to use it

Use Pure Velvet Noir to anchor pale linens, oak, or stone finishes, or let it add contrast on a statement chair or bench. Its dark, reflective pile works especially well in schemes that need depth without introducing pattern.
