About this fabric

This colourway shows a restrained moleskin-toned brown with cooler taupe undertones and a subtle velvety sheen that lifts slightly where the light catches it. As part of the Provence collection by Porter & Stone, it is a 100% recycled polyester velvet with a 140cm width and a 0cm pattern repeat, so the focus stays on the depth of the pile rather than any motif. The finish feels smooth and softly dense, making the shade look especially rich across larger upholstered surfaces. Its muted, earthy character gives it a grounded elegance without reading too dark or too red.

How to use it

Use this tone on a sofa, ottoman or dining chair where you want a neutral with more depth than beige. It pairs neatly with warm woods, stone, putty and tobacco accents, and the soft sheen adds interest in low light.
