About this fabric

This colourway of Provence is a plain velvet with a gently lustrous pile that catches the light in soft horizontal ripples. The ochre tone sits between mustard and gold, with a muted warmth that feels more earthy than acidic. It is woven in 100% recycled polyester, measures 140cm wide, and has no pattern repeat, making it straightforward to use on larger upholstered pieces. The finish looks plush and even, with a subtle depth that suits seating, cushions, and statement accent furniture.

How to use it

Use this ochre velvet to warm up walnut, oak, and bronze finishes, or to bring colour to a neutral scheme without overwhelming it. Its sunny but restrained tone works especially well on a tailored armchair, banquette, or ottoman.
