Sashay Calico

Tango Weaves Fabric002

Sashay Calico combines a softly muted olive ground with pale cream angular lines, forming an interlocking geometric pattern across the woven surface. The close-up reveals a fine ribbed texture that gives the colourway gentle tonal variation rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This 137cm-wide fabric is woven from 40% linen, 31% viscose, 25% cotton and 4% polyester. Its olive-beige tone is softened by the cream pattern, creating a calm, earthy contrast with a slightly cool cast in the lighter threads. Angular stepped motifs and directional stripes overlap across the design, giving the medium-scale pattern a graphic but tactile character. Supplied for curtains and fixed upholstery, it is graded for Contract and General Domestic use and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Pair Sashay Calico with warm ivory, natural timber and aged brass for a grounded scheme, or use it on fixed seating where the muted olive geometry can act as a quiet graphic accent. Its cream detailing also makes it easy to coordinate with pale neutral curtains or cushions.

Use the muted olive-and-cream geometry to bring quiet structure to curtains, occasional seating or fixed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
