Pivot Pear
Tango Weaves Fabric002
Pivot Pear combines soft pear green with pale cream in a tightly woven, small-scale geometric design. Its cool, lightly muted colour gives the pattern a fresh appearance without making the surface feel stark.

About this fabric
The close pattern is formed from broken diagonal chevrons, with pear-green threads alternating against cream and soft grey-white flecks. This creates a subtly textured surface in which the green shifts gently with the direction of the weave rather than appearing flat or highly saturated. At approximately 137cm wide, the fabric is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. Its composition is 21% linen, 29% cotton, 45% viscose and 5% polyester, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades and dry-clean after-care.
How to use it
Pair Pivot Pear with chalky whites, pale oak and cool stone for a light, contemporary scheme, or use it on a compact chair where the small diagonal weave can add interest without overwhelming the form. Its soft pear-green tone also works well as a fresh accent alongside deeper olive or muted blue-green.
Use the cool pear-green and cream tones to bring a fresh, quietly patterned finish to curtains, chairs or fixed upholstery.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pivot Pear without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
