About this fabric

This small geometric herringbone weave combines deep navy with softly contrasting oatmeal and muted grey-beige tones, creating a cool, layered colourway rather than a flat solid blue. Its tightly woven surface is visibly tactile, with irregular yarn variation adding depth across the repeating chevrons. The composition is 15% linen, 35% cotton, 45% viscose and 5% polyester. Supplied for curtains and fixed upholstery, it is graded for Contract and General Domestic use and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Chicane Navy on a reading chair, headboard or tailored fixed seat where its dark blue depth can anchor a room, or carry the herringbone into curtains for a coordinated graphic layer. Pair it with warm ivory, weathered timber and brushed metal to bring out the oatmeal flecks.

A dense navy-and-oatmeal herringbone weave that brings graphic texture to curtains or fixed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
