Oscar Spice

What's New Fabric

Oscar Spice shows a tight all-over dotted pattern in warm terracotta, rust and paprika tones over a pale neutral ground. The small-scale repeat gives it a lively, speckled look without reading busy.

About this fabric

This fabric has a compact 11.5cm repeat and a softly textured surface that suits both furnishing and window treatments. The 69% poly, 18% cotton and 13% vis composition helps the weave hold its neat, regular structure, which is clearly visible in the crisp little motif rows. Oscar Spice feels warm rather than bright, with earthy red-orange dots that sit comfortably against the natural-toned background. It has enough body for upholstery, yet the lighter woven handle also makes it a sensible choice for drapery where you want colour without heaviness.

How to use it

Use Oscar Spice on an armchair, banquette or Roman blind to bring a gentle hit of warmth into pale timber or stone interiors. Its muted spice tones sit especially well with tobacco leather, oatmeal linens and aged brass.

Pair with warm neutrals and walnut for a crisp, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
