Porter & Stone

Sofia Burnt Orange

Misc Fabric

Sofia Burnt Orange shows a neat repeating botanical motif in warm burnt orange and rust across a pale natural ground. The small-scale pattern feels crisp and slightly artisanal rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 83% cotton and 17% viscose, this fabric has a soft, matte look with enough body to work well across upholstery and drapery schemes. The 140cm width gives good coverage, while the 11.5cm pattern repeat keeps the little leaf motif regular and easy to place. In this colourway, the orange reads earthy and sunbaked, with rust and terracotta notes that sit clearly against the lighter ground. The overall effect is warm but restrained, giving the design a settled, textural finish rather than a bright decorative hit. Care is marked 1<NTQ.

How to use it

Pair this burnt orange colourway with natural woods, aged brass and warm neutrals for a grounded scheme. It would also add gentle colour to Roman blinds, cushions or an occasional chair without overpowering a room.

Use where you want a warm, quietly patterned surface with a handcrafted feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
