Caspian Prints & Embroideries FabricSAF0323-01

Niyali Annato/Midnight brings a lively coral-red ground to the bold, repeating medallion design, with midnight blue and aqua details that keep the palette crisp. The overall effect is bright, rhythmic and slightly vintage, with the pattern reading clearly across the cloth.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Caspian Prints & Embroideries collection is a 140 cm-wide textile with a 60 m standard length, a 60.5 cm vertical repeat and a 46 cm horizontal repeat. At 236 gsm and 74 threads per cm, it has a substantial printed cloth feel that works well across both furniture and soft furnishing projects. The swatch shows a coral red ground with midnight blue outlines, teal accents and soft beige highlights, giving the repeating motif a sun-warmed, energetic look rather than a dark or muted one. The design’s circular medallions and small linking details stand out sharply against the background, so the colourway feels decorative and confident without becoming heavy.

How to use it

Pair this red-led colourway with natural timber, painted cream and blue accent pieces to echo the teal and midnight notes. It is especially effective where you want pattern to take the lead, such as a feature chair or full-length curtains in a relaxed, collected room.

Use it for statement upholstery or lively curtains with a bright, eclectic feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
