About this fabric

From Sanderson’s Caspian Prints & Embroideries collection, Mossi Tyrian is a fabric with a usable width of 127.5 cm and a substantial 345 gsm weight, giving it enough presence for either upholstery or drapery use. The design shows a warm beige-sand ground crossed by narrow ivory zigzag columns, punctuated with small berry-red, blush-pink and muted mauve motifs. Its 19 cm vertical repeat and 32 cm horizontal repeat create a regular, rhythmic pattern that feels ordered rather than busy. With 40 threads per cm, the cloth reads as finely woven in the image, but still robust and tactile.

How to use it

This colourway suits schemes with oak, cane and soft plaster tones, where the sand ground can keep the room light while the red detailing adds energy. It would also lift a neutral seating piece or curtains without overpowering other patterned furnishings.
