About this fabric

From Sanderson’s Caspian Prints & Embroideries collection, Siam Diamond Cobalt/Flame is a 252 gsm textile with a usable width of 141 cm and a large 89 cm vertical by 70 cm horizontal repeat. The cloth reads as a textured printed ground rather than a flat solid, with the deep cobalt background showing subtle variation that adds depth behind the motif. Large diamond-shaped medallions in cream, outlined and enlivened with flame-red accents, give the design a formal, decorative character. The dense patterning and substantial weight make it well suited to statement upholstery or fuller drapery applications.

How to use it

Use this cobalt colourway where you want strong contrast and pattern presence, such as a feature armchair, ottoman or lined curtains. The blue ground feels especially striking with walnut, brass and parchment-toned finishes.

Pair with warm neutrals or oxblood accents to let the ornate damask stand out.
