Madurai Indigo presents a cool, muted indigo-blue damask against a softly warm cream ground. Large ornamental medallions, scrolling foliage and small dotted borders create a richly detailed, symmetrical surface.

About this fabric

The design is built from repeated teardrop-shaped medallions containing curled botanical forms and central floral motifs, with distressed blue brushwork adding depth to the pattern. A pale beige lattice separates the medallions, while tiny blue-and-cream dots trace the surrounding bands. The wallpaper has a usable width of 52 cm and a vertical pattern repeat of 52 cm, giving the large-scale arrangement a clear, measured rhythm. It is supplied in a standard 10.05 m length and has a listed weight of 213 gsm.

How to use it

Pair this cool indigo colourway with chalky cream, pale oak and gently weathered brass to balance its ornate pattern. It is especially effective on a feature wall where the repeating medallions can be read at full scale.
