Robin`s Wood Russet

Arboretum Fabrics FabricSAF0402-01

Robin's Wood Russet brings the Arboretum leaf pattern to life in a warm, autumn-led palette of russet, ochre and teal on a creamy ground. The large-scale botanical motif feels lively and layered, with the colour contrast giving the design real depth.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 137 cm and a substantial 300 gsm weight, making it a versatile mid-weight textile for either upholstery or drapery. The repeat is generous at 81 cm vertically and 66.4 cm horizontally, which suits the sweeping, overlapping leaf clusters visible in the design. In this colourway, the russet reds and burnt oranges read earthy rather than bright, while the teal foliage adds a cooler counterpoint that keeps the pattern fresh. The cream background softens the overall look and lets the foliage shapes stand out clearly without feeling heavy.

How to use it

Use Robin's Wood Russet on a statement chair, window seat or cushions where the warm red-brown notes can play against oak, walnut or painted joinery. It also works well with quiet neutrals and textured weaves, allowing the teal accents and autumn leaves to carry the room.

Pair with natural wood and plain linens to let the autumnal leaf motif stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
