About this fabric

This Sanderson Arboretum Fabrics cloth has a usable width of 137 cm and a substantial 300 gsm weight, with 19.5 threads per cm for a nicely balanced woven handle. The pattern repeat is 81 cm vertically and 66.4 cm horizontally, which suits the large-scale leaf clusters and scattered stems visible in the design. In this colourway the greens read bright and leafy rather than dark, with cooler teal notes and lighter yellow-green highlights that keep the print airy on the cream ground. It has enough body for smart cushions and occasional upholstery, while also working well for statement drapery where the repeat can be shown to best effect.

How to use it

Pair it with painted woods, rattan and plain linens if you want the sap greens to stay crisp and natural. It also sits well beside warm neutrals, letting the forest tones provide the main colour in a relaxed scheme.

Use this lively leaf print to bring fresh movement and a layered green palette to a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Robin`s Wood Forest Green/Sap Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
