About this fabric
This upholstery fabric is made from 100% polyester and has a width of 140cm, making it practical for a range of furniture projects. The swatch shows a deep chilli red with a slightly darkened, wine-like undertone rather than a bright scarlet finish. Its plain weave and fine surface texture keep the look clean and controlled, while the colour appears dense and enveloping across the face of the fabric. With no pattern repeat to match, it is especially straightforward to cut and use on tailored upholstery pieces.
How to use it
Use this colour to add intensity to a sofa, dining chair or ottoman, especially in rooms with walnut, brass or deep painted joinery. The warm red tone also works well as a strong accent against cream, charcoal or aged leather.
