About this fabric

This fabric has a substantial 533 gsm weight and a tightly woven surface at 75 threads per cm, which suits its decorative, structured look. The 135 cm usable width gives good scope for pattern placement, while the 46.5 cm vertical repeat and 33.8 cm horizontal repeat indicate a bold, repeating floral layout. In this colourway the crimson lines read bright and confident rather than dark, lifted by soft blush, dusty blue and warm beige embroidery details. The ivory ground keeps the overall effect fresh, so the design feels ornate without becoming heavy.

How to use it

Use this crimson colourway to bring warmth to an upholstered armchair, occasional sofa or window seat where the embroidered florals can be seen clearly. It pairs well with painted wood, aged brass and quiet ivory walls, letting the saturated red outlines stay the focal point.

A richly worked crimson embroidery that brings warmth and character to classic schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
