Linnean Weaves FabricSAF0280-01
Botanic Trellis Bengal Red shows a crisp trellis of ivory lines set over a rich, warm red ground. The small geometric repeat gives the surface a neat, rhythmic look with plenty of contrast.

About this fabric
This Sanderson fabric from the Linnean Weaves collection is a substantial textile, with a 140 cm usable width and a heavy 576 gsm weight that suits upholstery well. The pattern repeat is 8 cm vertically and 5.8 cm horizontally, creating a compact lattice that reads clearly across the surface. In this colourway, the red is saturated and earthy rather than bright, while the fine pale outline lifts the design and gives it a sharp, tailored finish. The visible weave feels firm and densely constructed, adding to the smart, structured character of the design.
How to use it
Use this Bengal red colourway on a statement chair, banquette or ottoman where the small-scale trellis can add energy without overwhelming the room. It works especially well with cream paintwork, walnut tones and brass accents.
Pair with warm neutrals and aged woods to let the crisp lattice stand out.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Botanic Trellis Bengal Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
