About this fabric

This colourway has a restrained ocean-blue cast with greyed undertones, so the surface feels more misty than bright. The weave shows a tight, horizontal grain across the cloth, and the vertical striations in the image give it a subtle, structured character. Made in a 140cm approx width, this fabric combines 28% cotton, 26% virgin wool, 23% viscose, 20% linen and 3% polyamide for a natural-looking handle with a little stability. The repeat is V 0cm / H 0cm approx, which supports the plain, uninterrupted appearance seen here.

How to use it

Use Pietro Ocean on a clean-lined armchair or tailored sofa to bring a cool, polished note into a scheme. It also works well for curtains or Roman blinds where the muted blue can soften timber, stone and pale neutrals.

A cool, tailored blue that works neatly on both seating and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
