About this fabric

This colourway reads as a mellow tobacco brown with a slightly heathered effect, where the weave breaks the colour into tiny tonal shifts instead of a single block shade. The fabric is composed of 28% cotton, 26% virgin wool, 23% viscose, 20% linen and 3% polyamide, and it measures approximately 140cm wide. The close weave and dry, tailored handle visible in the image suggest a cloth that will hold its shape well on seating, while the absence of a visible repeat keeps the overall effect calm and versatile. The fire code √BH and care code Q 8 + T 3 are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Pietro Tobacco on a sofa, banquette or accent chair where its warm brown depth can anchor lighter linens, oak and aged brass. It also works well with autumnal greens and cream upholstery for a layered, understated scheme.

A warm, grounded neutral that works beautifully on tailored seating and clean-lined scheme pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
