Malibu Ice Blue

Baya FabricL9386-03

Malibu in Ice Blue presents a pale, cooling ground with the pattern sitting quietly across the surface rather than shouting. The effect is light, breezy and softly textural, with the motif reading almost like feathered brushwork.

About this fabric

This Larsen Baya fabric is composed of 63% Cotton, 17% Acrylic, 16% Polyester and 4% Other Fibres, with a width of approximately 126cm and a repeat of V 55cm / H 63cm. In this colourway the design is rendered in a very light ice blue with a soft grey cast, so the woven texture feels calm and airy instead of saturated. The pattern appears in feathery, diagonal clusters that lift gently from the ground, giving the cloth movement without heavy contrast. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it is a practical textile for interiors where a fresh pale blue tone is wanted.

How to use it

Use this pale blue to lighten a room with white-painted wood, limestone, or pale oak, where its cool tint can stay crisp and not become sugary. It works especially well when you want the pattern visible only on closer look, adding depth to cushions, occasional chairs, or curtains.

A cool, airy blue that softens the pattern and keeps it fresh rather than bold.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
