Cricket Reed

Volume Fabric

Cricket Reed has a deep, muted teal-green ground with raised-looking vertical lines that alternate between braided cords and pointed leaf forms. Its close tonal contrast gives the swatch a calm, crafted depth rather than a bright botanical effect.

About this fabric

The fabric is visibly structured, with narrow cable-like columns set beside repeating upright leaf motifs in a darker teal outline. Subtle shifts between blue-green and charcoal-teal threads give the surface a softly dimensional, woven appearance. The regular vertical layout makes the pattern feel ordered and tailored, while the organic leaf shapes keep it from looking stark. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification has been supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this deep teal colourway with warm timber, smoked oak and pared-back neutrals to balance its cool green depth. It would suit a structured occasional chair, headboard or statement upholstered panel where the vertical pattern can remain visible.

Use this deep teal woven pattern to bring structured botanical texture to contemporary upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cricket Reed without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
