About this fabric

This plain from the Chamonix collection is composed of 62% polyester and 38% cotton, with a 35,000 Martindale and heavy domestic suitability, so it is well placed for everyday seating. In the swatch, the colour sits between forest and blue-green, softened by a dusky, low-sheen surface rather than a bright saturated finish. The weave creates a gentle tonal variation across the cloth, so the teal looks layered and slightly weathered. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and professional dry clean in situ is advised for care.

How to use it

Use this teal on an armchair, sofa or banquette where a darker, more restrained colour can anchor the room. It pairs especially well with warm oak, brushed brass and pale stone for contrast.
