About this fabric

From the Emile II collection by Jane Churchill, Emile Paprika is a textile fabric with a plain appearance and no repeat, making the colour the focus rather than pattern. The 50% cotton, 50% polyester composition gives it a neat, even handle that reads as a practical mid-weight cloth. At approximately 140cm wide, it is straightforward to plan for upholstery or drapery applications. The paprika tone is earthy and saturated, with a slightly muted red-orange depth that feels warmer in the light and darker at the edges of the swatch. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are both specified for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this shade on an occasional chair, headboard, or full-length curtains where you want a warm accent without a bright orange finish. It pairs especially well with oak, tobacco leather, and soft neutral walls.

A warm paprika tone that brings depth to both upholstered pieces and relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
