About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted beige with a gentle greige cast, giving it a soft, stone-like character rather than a bright cream. The surface appears fine and smooth in the image, with just enough texture to keep the plain weave from looking flat. Woven in 50% cotton and 50% polyester, Emile II is a practical fabric with a width of approximately 140cm, a repeat of 0cm vertically and horizontally, care code C 8 + T 3, and fire code K. Its balanced handle and restrained colour make it easy to use where a subtle, low-key finish is needed.

How to use it

Use this pebble beige as a quiet foundation for upholstered chairs, banquettes or curtains where you want the room to feel light but grounded. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalky whites and deeper taupe or olive accents.

A calm neutral that layers easily with timber, linen and deeper accent tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
