About this fabric

Idris Beige from the Elara collection by Jane Churchill is composed of 80% Recycled Polyester and 20% Polyester, with an approximate width of 136cm and a repeat of V 8cm / H 8cm. The colourway reads as a light beige with a gentle cream warmth, and the minute motif creates a finely dappled, almost peppered texture across the cloth. Its overall effect is calm and understated rather than stark, with enough surface movement to keep a plain scheme from feeling flat. With care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it is a practical decorative fabric with a neat, tailored finish.

How to use it

Use Idris Beige on upholstered dining chairs, ottomans or a headboard where its soft warmth can lighten a room without looking stark. It also works well beside oak, linen whites and muted stone tones, where the fine pattern adds interest at close range.

A soft, versatile neutral that brings quiet warmth to tailored schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
