Idris Yellow

Elara FabricJ0308-06

Idris Yellow is a softly luminous colourway, with a fine all-over geometric pattern that reads as warm and understated rather than bright. The small-scale motif and gently mottled surface give it a calm, tailored look.

About this fabric

Idris Yellow from the Elara collection by Jane Churchill is a 136cm-wide fabric composed of 80% recycled polyester and 20% polyester. The cloth shows a tiny repeating geometric pattern with a delicate woven texture, and the 8cm vertical and horizontal repeat helps the design feel neatly structured across larger areas. In this colourway the yellow is pale and buttery, with a muted cream base that keeps the overall effect soft and easy to live with. The finish catches the light subtly, so the pattern appears slightly more open and brighter in some areas without losing its calm character. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Idris Yellow where you want a gentle wash of colour without heaviness, especially on compact upholstery pieces or relaxed curtains. Its soft butter tone pairs neatly with oak, chalk white and pale grey for a fresh, tailored room.

A quiet butter-yellow weave that feels light and polished in either upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
