Ludo Ochre

Delaney FabricJ0242-01

Ludo Ochre has a softly speckled, small-scale woven look in a warm ochre gold with a gentle matte finish. The tiny repeat gives the surface a tidy, tactile rhythm rather than a bold pattern statement.

About this fabric

This Delaney fabric by Jane Churchill is woven in 45% polyester, 34% cotton and 21% viscose, with an approximate width of 140cm and a small vertical and horizontal repeat of 1cm and 2cm. In this colourway, the ochre reads muted and earthy rather than bright, with a mellow gold cast that sits comfortably between yellow and tan. The weave has a fine, evenly textured surface that catches light softly, giving the cloth depth without shine. Its balanced composition and measured scale make it suitable for upholstery or drapery where a calm, woven character is wanted.

How to use it

Use Ludo Ochre to warm up neutral schemes, especially alongside plaster pinks, stone, aged brass and natural woods. The subdued gold tone is particularly effective on tailored chairs, simple curtains or Roman blinds where the texture can be appreciated up close.

A warm ochre weave that brings quiet richness to both upholstery and relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
