About this fabric

The visible design alternates broad ochre bands with pale ivory stripes, while narrow charcoal lines add definition at their edges. A subtle woven grain softens the contrast, allowing the ochre to read as muted and mellow rather than bright yellow. At 301 gsm, this is a substantial mid-weight textile with a usable width of 140 cm and a standard length of 40 m. The stripe has no vertical repeat and a 16 cm horizontal repeat, making its linear layout straightforward to position across a wider run.

How to use it

Use the warm ochre ground to bring depth to a neutral room, with charcoal accents echoing the fine dark lines and ivory upholstery or walls picking up the lighter stripes. Its vertical emphasis suits tailored curtains, blinds or neatly piped seating.

A warm ochre-and-ivory stripe sharpened by fine charcoal lines, suitable for tailored upholstery or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Belgravia Ochre/Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
