About this fabric
The close check is formed from narrow, evenly spaced lines, with the charcoal verticals reading slightly deeper than the softer taupe horizontals. The pale grey base has a lightly flecked, matte appearance that keeps the overall colourway calm rather than stark. At 318 gsm, this is a substantial woven textile suited to upholstery. It has a 137 cm usable width, with a 6.5 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 7 cm horizontal repeat. The supplied standard length is 40 m.
How to use it
Use the cool flannel-grey ground on a tailored armchair, bench or sofa, then pick up the taupe lines with warm timber and natural neutral accents. The charcoal stripes also give definition against paler walls without making the check feel high-contrast.
