Breton Dove

Edgeworth FabricCCF0549-04

Breton Dove presents a pale dove-grey ground with extremely fine vertical rib lines, giving the close-up surface a softly tailored, quietly textured appearance. Its cool, light tone is softened by a subtle ivory cast in the weave.

About this fabric

The fabric has a tightly spaced linear texture rather than a conventional motif, with the narrow horizontal repeat recorded as just 0.5 cm and no vertical pattern repeat. At 301 gsm and 140 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 40 m standard length supports longer runs, while the restrained dove-grey colour keeps the fine ribbing delicate rather than high-contrast. Light catches the raised lines gently, adding depth without changing the calm, near-neutral character.

How to use it

Use Breton Dove to bring a cool, pale grey layer to a room with chalky whites, light oak or muted blue accents. Its fine vertical ribbing will give a chair, headboard, blind or curtain a neat, understated finish without introducing a bold pattern.

A quietly tailored pale grey stripe for upholstered seating, blinds or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
