Belgravia Charcoal/Linen

Edgeworth FabricCCF0548-01

Belgravia Charcoal/Linen presents a quiet charcoal-taupe ground crossed by slim, pale linen-toned vertical stripes. The closely spaced lines give the swatch a crisp, architectural rhythm while the muted ground keeps the overall impression soft.

About this fabric

The woven surface combines a warm charcoal-taupe field with narrow light stripes, creating understated contrast rather than a stark black-and-white effect. With a supplied weight of 301gsm, it has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile for upholstery or drapery. The usable width is 140cm, with a standard length of 40m. Its vertical pattern repeat is 0cm and its horizontal repeat is 16cm, reflecting the regular spacing of the stripes across the width.

How to use it

Use this charcoal-taupe colourway on a tailored chair, bench or full-length curtain where its pale vertical lines can add height without dominating the room. Pair it with warm natural wood, ivory upholstery or softly aged metallic accents to echo the linen-toned stripes.

Use the charcoal-taupe ground and fine linen-toned stripes to bring calm vertical structure to upholstery, blinds or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Belgravia Charcoal/Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
