About this fabric

The design combines large open flowers with smaller sprigs, curling leaves and fine charcoal outlines, creating a detailed but balanced floral surface. Its warm taupe background is subdued rather than grey, while the cream and olive-yellow petals add gentle depth without becoming bright or saturated. A subtle woven texture is visible across the 228gsm cloth, giving the surface a tactile, mid-weight character suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 138cm usable width and 42cm vertical by 45cm horizontal repeat allow the larger blooms to be planned across cushions, blinds or curtains.

How to use it

Use the warm taupe ground to soften rooms with timber, stone or painted neutrals, and pick out the olive-yellow petals with plain cushions or trims. The cream blooms can also connect the fabric to lighter upholstery or natural linen curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Palampore Taupe without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
