Eden FabricCCF0401-04

Palampore Mineral places richly drawn botanical flowers and curling foliage over a cool mineral blue-grey ground. Ivory, dove-grey and charcoal detailing gives the pattern a softly aged, finely illustrated appearance.

About this fabric

The design combines large layered blooms with pointed leaves, curling stems and small scattered sprigs, all picked out in chalky ivory, soft grey and charcoal. Its mineral blue-grey background is muted rather than vivid, allowing the pale floral details to stand forward while retaining a calm, cool depth. At 228 gsm, the cloth is a versatile mid-weight suited to both upholstery and drapery. It has a 138 cm usable width, with a 42 cm vertical repeat and 45 cm horizontal repeat; the standard length is 30 m.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-grey colourway to bring patterned interest to a reading chair, bench or full-length curtains, pairing it with warm ivory, weathered timber and charcoal accents. The restrained mineral tone also works well as a softer alternative to navy in a traditional botanical scheme.

A cool mineral blue ground gives the intricate floral print a composed, quietly traditional character for upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Palampore Mineral without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
