About this fabric
The design alternates broad taupe and ivory stripes, with the taupe reading as a soft, warm grey-beige rather than a strong brown. The close-up image shows a subtle woven grain that gently softens the crisp geometry, while the vertical lines continue without a vertical pattern break. At 301gsm and 140cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern has a 9.5cm horizontal repeat and a 0cm vertical repeat, making the stripe direction visually continuous across the length.
How to use it
Use Portland Linen to bring gentle vertical rhythm to a pale, tonal scheme: it works particularly well on relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or occasional upholstery alongside warm ivory and natural taupe accents.
