About this fabric
This Emile II colourway reads as a clear, bright golden yellow, with a soft matte appearance rather than a glossy finish. The plain surface keeps the focus on the colour itself, which feels warm, fresh and lightly saturated across the cloth. Woven in 50% cotton and 50% polyester, it offers a balanced handle and a practical 140cm approx. width. With no repeat to worry about, it is an easy fabric to pattern-match in a full-room scheme.
How to use it
Use this shade to energise loose cushions, headboards or simple upholstered chairs, where its sunny tone can be balanced with white, oak or pale grey. It also works well in bright rooms that need a warmer accent without heavy pattern.
A vivid plain yellow that brings a warm, sunny lift to clean-lined schemes.

Pairs well with
Emile Yellow is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
