About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 85% cotton and 15% linen, Mondrago Gold is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a robust 45,000 rub test and a 140cm width. The fabric has a compact, decorative repeat of 8.5cm vertically and 3.5cm horizontally, creating a precise all-over pattern that reads neatly at close range. In this colourway, the gold tone is mellow and slightly earthy, sitting over a pale ground so the motif feels crisp without looking harsh. At 364 grams per linear metre and 260 grams per square metre, it has enough substance for confident furnishing use while keeping the woven surface looking clean and tailored.

How to use it

Use Mondrago Gold on a classic occasional chair, formal dining seats or piped cushions where the small pattern can be appreciated. It also makes elegant drapes in schemes built around warm woods, stone and aged brass.
