About this fabric

This Morris & Co. velvet weighs 556 gsm and has a useable width of 134 cm, giving the cloth a substantial presence for upholstery. The Inky Fingers colourway reads as a saturated blue-black navy, with subtle tonal variation appearing as the pile catches the light. Its surface is completely plain, with supplied vertical and horizontal pattern repeats both measuring 0 cm. At 51.5 threads per cm, the close construction supports the dense, smooth appearance visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use this cool, inky navy on a sofa, club chair or upholstered headboard where its dark tone can anchor softer blue-grey, stone or warm timber finishes. Keep surrounding materials tactile but lighter to let the velvet’s subdued sheen show across the pile.
