About this fabric

This Morris & Co. velvet weighs 806gsm and has a usable width of 132.5cm, giving the cloth a notably weighty presence for upholstery. The design is built from repeated pointed leaf and flower forms, with blue blossoms and leaves set against dark olive foliage, small ochre-orange flowers and fine cream-gold outlines. Its 92cm vertical repeat and 44.5cm horizontal repeat create a clearly visible, medium-scale rhythm across a chair, headboard or sofa. The dark Webb's Blue ground keeps the colourway cool and atmospheric, while the warm ochre details prevent the pattern from feeling flat.

How to use it
