About this fabric

This Morris & Co. velvet has a substantial 416gsm weight, making it particularly well suited to upholstered seating and statement cushions. The deep artichoke-olive ground lets the silvery sage leaves and softly cream flower details stand forward, while rust and ochre accents add restrained warmth. Its detailed repeat measures 32cm vertically by 68cm horizontally, creating a clearly rhythmic botanical surface without losing the depth of the dark background. The usable width is 136.5cm, with 57.7 threads per centimetre contributing to the closely worked appearance visible across the design.

How to use it

Use this deep olive colourway on a reading chair, headboard or compact sofa where its shaded botanical pattern can be appreciated at close range. Balance the cool sage foliage with walnut, dark painted wood and small touches of ochre or aged brass.
