About this fabric

Rousay, pattern F8091, is a heavy upholstery fabric from Osborne & Little’s Portree Stain Resistant collection, with a 50,000 rub test and a width of 141cm (55½). The fabric content is 45% rPP, 31% rPET, 20% PC and 4% PL, and it is made in Turkey. Visually, this colourway mixes muted terracotta, cinnamon brown and small flashes of burnt orange across the textured weave, giving it a warm, mineral feel. The surface reads tactile and substantial, with enough depth in the yarns to soften the colour and prevent it from feeling flat. It is a practical choice for upholstered pieces that need both colour and performance.

How to use it

Use this terracotta shade on a sofa, armchair or banquette to add warmth against pale plaster, stone or oatmeal walls. It also works well with walnut, aged brass and olive accents for an earthy, layered scheme.

Pair with warm woods and softened neutrals to let the earthy terracotta lift the room.
