Daffodil Dark Olive

Queen Square Fabrics FabricMOF0143-02

Daffodil Dark Olive combines a deep olive ground with curling turquoise foliage, cream pineapple-like botanical forms and small warm yellow flowers. The dense repeat creates a richly layered surface, with the pale motifs standing out clearly against the darker background.

About this fabric

The dark olive ground gives this colourway a shaded, garden-like depth, while turquoise leaves bring a cooler, brighter contrast across the surface. Cream botanical forms and scattered yellow flowers add definition without losing the design’s densely patterned character. This fabric has a 262 gsm weight and 35.8 threads per cm, giving it a substantial mid-weight presence suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. It has a 137.2 cm usable width, a 22.8 cm vertical repeat and a 13.7 cm horizontal repeat, with a standard length of 60 m.

How to use it

Use the dark olive as a grounding shade on a reading-room chair, Roman blind or lined curtain, then pick up the turquoise foliage with plain cushions or painted timber accents. Cream upholstery piping or warm yellow accessories can highlight the lighter botanical details.

A richly detailed olive botanical for curtains, cushions and occasional upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Daffodil Dark Olive without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
