Brer Rabbit Olive/Turquoise

Brer Rabbit Olive/Turquoise has a vivid turquoise ground covered with tightly drawn olive-green foliage, curling vines and repeated rabbit figures. The cool, saturated colour gives the dense botanical design a lively, jewel-like presence.

About this fabric

This Morris & Co. textile weighs 262 gsm and has a 137.2 cm usable width, making it suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. The pattern repeats every 64 cm vertically and 34.3 cm horizontally, creating a closely paced arrangement of rabbits, leaves, tendrils and floral forms. Fine olive linework sits clearly against the turquoise ground, giving the design depth without losing its bright, energetic character. With 35.8 threads per cm, the fabric has a substantial, closely made specification for a richly patterned furnishing textile.

How to use it

Use this colourway where a room can take a confident hit of cool turquoise, such as a reading chair, bench seat or full-length curtains. Balance its olive detailing with warm timber, natural woven textures or quieter green upholstery.

A richly detailed turquoise and olive botanical textile that brings lively colour to upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Brer Rabbit Olive/Turquoise without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
