Chrysanthemum Summer

Chrysanthemum Summer presents a vivid turquoise ground densely scattered with blush-pink and coral-orange chrysanthemums. Fine green foliage fills the spaces between the flowers, giving this colourway a bright, layered surface.

About this fabric

The cool turquoise background has a clear, energetic intensity, while the pink and orange blooms introduce warmer flashes of colour across the design. Fine green stems and leaves create a closely worked floral network around the medium-scale blossoms. At 262 gsm, with 35.8 threads per centimetre, the cloth has a substantial mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 142 cm usable width carries a 51.5 cm vertical repeat and 28 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the flower arrangement to read as a continuous field.

How to use it

Use this turquoise colourway on a statement chair, bench or full-length curtain where its coral and blush flowers can lead the scheme. Pair it with warm wood, ivory upholstery or restrained sandy neutrals to temper the saturated ground.

Use the vivid turquoise ground to energise a room, balancing its coral and blush flowers with warm timber or calm neutrals.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chrysanthemum Summer without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
